上述調查於第五波疫情前中期,但隨疫情放緩及4月21日重開堂食,環聯亞太區產品技術與風險管理高級總監張家龍相信,疫情下消費者更多運用信貸工具以妥善管理開支,疫情緩和後市場仍會如以往迅速復蘇。
環聯發布本季《全球消費者脈搏研究報告》,調查在今年2月時進行,結果顯示今次疫情雖扭轉消費者信心在去年第四季向好的趨勢,但表現較去年首季、即第四波疫情時為佳。有46%的消費者,在上季減少了出外用餐及其他娛樂活動等非必要開支,較去年第四季增加4個百分點,但少於2021年首季的66%,也較去年第二和第三季疫情緩和時的49%和52%為低。
