面對租金上升、食材加價及最低工資等問題,餐飲業均指經營環境困難。香港餐飲聯業協會的調查顯示,200間受訪食肆中,有九成八認為招聘人手是明年經營的最大挑戰;七成更指明年需要加價,將成本轉嫁消費者。
本地租金今年加幅顯著,估計明年未必可以維持,但由於商號租約是陸續到期,租金上調的效應會維持一段時間。失業率方面,最近數字大致保持平穩,但就業人數則創出新高,經濟似乎仍然活躍,對人力需求依然保持。餐飲業受到最低工資影響,人手流失較為嚴重,假如來年最低工資調高幅度大,薪酬成本仍會上升。
